The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar has launched the “Educational Institutions Licensing” platform to streamline services for educational entities. This digital platform aims to enhance efficiency by allowing institutions to easily obtain and manage licenses, reducing the need for in-person visits.
The platform offers a range of services for educational institutions, including nurseries and schools, such as issuing and renewing licenses, changing names, owners, locations, and directors, and managing other administrative tasks.
Omar Abdulaziz Al-Naama, Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs, emphasized that the platform supports Qatar’s National Vision 2030, enhancing the private education sector and creating a favorable investment environment. Dr. Mona Salem Al-Fadhli, Director of the Information Systems Department, highlighted that the platform ensures a seamless, fully automated experience, aligning with the Ministry’s commitment to digital transformation.
This initiative is crucial for improving educational service quality and oversight, contributing to Qatar’s educational development goals.
